N-ABLE™ is a large-scale, microeconomic custom simulation and modeling tool that captures complex supply chain and market dynamics of businesses in the U.S. economy to better understand the impacts of vulnerabilities and disruptions on national economic security. N-ABLE™ is designed to run in a parallel processing supercomputing environment that several national laboratories use. Our IT staff supports the simulation client that allows an analyst to generate and visualize simulations via statistical and GIS views. The simulation client is coded in Java to provide the broadest usage with data analysts on Mac OS X and Windows based platforms. The client can use Oracle and MySQL databases for storage of simulation results and creation of models.
