PHC Reclamation, Inc. (PHC-REC) entered into a Professional Services Contract with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality/Abandoned Mine Lands Division (AML) on July 10, 2003, for the purpose of providing engineering services specific to the Carissa Gold Mine property located in Fremont County, Wyoming. This project involves performing an inventory and assessment of the physical and environmental hazards at the property and to report those findings, including the estimated costs associated with restoring the property to acceptable levels of public safety, to the Governor, Joint Minerals, Business and Economic Development Interim Committee, and the Wyoming Parks and Cultural Resources Commission. Professional services have been expanded through contract amendments to include engineering design and construction management of the rehabilitation and stabilization of historic structures, and the mitigation of hazards associated with shafts, portals, adits, and subsidence features.
