Meredith Favero started at RESPEC after graduating from the civil engineering program at Colorado State University. As an Engineer-In-Training, she currently works in our Denver office as a water resources engineer. She is experienced in hydrological analysis, hydraulic modeling, planning studies, storm drainage design, scour analysis, and drainage reports.
Favero says that she loves her work as an engineer because of “the challenging designs that we are faced with and the opportunity to collaborate with fun and intelligent co-workers … Being an engineer has changed my mindset and the outlook that I have on life. The more I learn and grow as an engineer, the more appreciation I gain for the built environment around us and the many engineers before us who have shaped the way we live today.”
Her advice for future engineers is to “persevere through the challenges that you face and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. There is so much knowledge and insight to be gained from professors and coworkers who have been in the profession much longer.”
