Engineering Technician/Construction Inspector

Job Description: A nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks an experienced Engineering Technician/ Construction Manager to work in our Cheyenne, Wyoming, location.  This individual must be skilled in Engineering Technician services, as well as Construction Management and quality assurance/quality control services. We are seeking and individual with the following qualities:

  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD 3D software applications
  • Familiarity of Carlson Civil Suite and Natural Regrade software (helpful but not required)
  • A solid understanding of landscape and grading construction
  • Experience with topographic surveying and mapping techniques
  • Ability to provide construction oversight, inspections and any documentation related to such.

Travel will be associated with this position.

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate has a degree (preferred but not required) in engineering with an emphasis in civil, mining, or geological engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience.  The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, solid oral and written communication skills, and must be capable in the writing of constructions specifications. Additional desirable qualifications include knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is beneficial.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
