Senior Project Manager/Engineer


Job Description:  A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm has an opening for a Senior Project Manager/Engineer in the Community Design Solutions Business Unit in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, office.  Our projects are generally in the area of stormwater drainage and flood control but will also periodically involve commercial and residential development projects.  The candidate will focus on the growth and performance of stormwater drainage and flood control work in New Mexico.  Candidate shall have a successful track record in the delivery and management of stormwater and flood control projects and shall be licensed in the state as a professional engineer.  Candidate will spend approximately twenty-five percent of their time doing business development (marketing, identifying opportunities, and writing/presenting proposals) and about seventy-five percent of time being billable on project work. 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in engineering (Civil or Environmental preferred).  A Professional Engineering license is required (New Mexico PE strongly desired.) A minimum of 9+ years overall professional engineering experience. 5+ years of experience in stormwater drainage and flood control, 10+ years preferred. 5+ years of successful project management experience, 10+ preferred.

Work Schedule:  Full time position involving 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
