Early Career Graduate Engineer

Cheyenne, WY - W-Water & Environment

Job Description: A nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks an Early Career Graduate Engineer in our Cheyenne, Wyoming office. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to provide a combination of engineering technician services, as well as construction inspection and quality assurance/quality control services specific to mine reclamation. Occasional travel will be associated with this position.

Education and Desired Skills Include:

  • BS in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field
  • Possess Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • 1+ years of experience in Construction Management field and heavy construction equipment operation
  • Experience in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Understanding of landscape and grading construction
  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD 3D software applications
  • Familiarity of Carlson Civil Suite and Natural Regrade software (helpful but not required)
  • Experience with topographic surveying and mapping techniques
  • Ability to provide construction oversight, inspections and any documentation related to such.

Compensation: Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
