Job Description: A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm seeks an experienced engineer to formulate and facilitate the growth of a water and natural resources business. The firm specializes in the application of technology to solve problems.  The successful candidate will work with other engineers and directly with clients in the area of engineering design, modeling, general problem solving, and project management.  Typical projects will include: design and installation of best management practices, watershed assessments, water quality monitoring and/or sampling (i.e. fieldwork), using GIS software, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a Master of Science degree in civil (water resources), environmental, agricultural, geological or a related engineering field and at least 5 years of experience. The candidate must have proven interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and project management experience.  Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (ESRI and/or ENVI) is required.  Additional desirable qualifications include computer modeling experience (e.g. HEC-RAS, HSPF), programming experience (e.g. MATLAB), and database experience.

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
