Senior Project Manager - Water Resources
Job Description
This position is a hands-on position in a successful and continually growing company. The Water Resources Senior Project Manager is involved with all forms of planning, designing, and providing specialty services related to the stormwater and water resources engineering field. Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality pond design, bank stabilization, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights, among others.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
- At least 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in the stormwater engineering field that includes project management experience
- A Professional Engineer licensed in Colorado and experience providing engineering services in the state
- Experience managing teams of engineers to provide exceptional engineering services
- Experience mentoring less experienced engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of stormwater engineering consulting
- Experience with business development and client management
- Experience developing and guiding construction plan packages and/or master planning studies
- Experience in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Letters of Map Change (LOMC) and floodplain mapping
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS
- Practical application of the various hydrology/hydraulics software, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred), HEC-HMS, CUHP, EPASWMM, and HY-8
- Experience in construction management and oversight of stormwater project installations
Additional Information
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Typical salary range for this position is $100,000 to $170,000. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
