RESPEC PROJECT

As a subcontractor to Geologica, RESPEC completed technical due diligence of Muara Laboh, Indonesia, focused on the sustainability of current operations, and capacity for expansion. Dr. Hoyer’s tasks included; a review of power plant and fluid collection and injection system operating data, evaluation of turbine efficiency, steam purity and quality, maintenance and workorder system, well and drilling reports and cost, Health Environmental and Safety “Key Performance Indicator” and pre-feasibility and Front-End Engineering Design studies for a 60 MW expansion. Covid-19 restricted travel. However, we developed and implemented a plan for a virtual tour using a combination of drone and surface pictures and successfully completed the project without a site visit.
