Todd Kenner’s tenure as CEO, beginning in 2009, has been transformational for RESPEC. Under his guidance, the company addressed critical needs, such as talent development, ownership restructuring, and market diversification, to ensure sustainability. His leadership has brought RESPEC from a defensive posture to a thriving position of strategic opportunity.
Reflecting on this journey, Kenner shared, “Our business is all about people and relationships. Over the last 15 years, we’ve built a talented, aligned team that meets today’s challenges and is poised to shape tomorrow’s opportunities. This transition isn’t an end—it’s the next big step in RESPEC’s evolution.”

His leadership has focused on building a cohesive, high-performing team.

“I’m honored to carry forward RESPEC’s legacy,” Love stated. “This transition has been deliberate, reflecting our deep care for our people, clients, and mission. We’re ready to capitalize on our investments and execute on our vision.”

Intentional Succession for a Generational Legacy

This leadership transition fulfills a strategic goal set in 2018: to establish RESPEC’s fourth generation of leadership by 2025. This methodical approach underscores the company’s commitment to stability and continuity. Kenner noted, “Leadership isn’t just about the individual—it’s about stewardship. Our focus has always been to build a resilient organization capable of thriving across generations.”

With just four Presidents over its 55-year history, RESPEC’s consistency in leadership reflects its strong culture of integrity, excellence, and collaboration.
