Airport Way Corridor Functional Features Analysis

2018
Fairbanks, Alaska
Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities

This project evaluated the functional features with the existing right-of-way along the Fairbanks Airport Way corridor against aesthetics, functionality, and engineering standards. Public and stakeholder outreach was conducted to craft a long-term vision for the corridor that will aid in developing recommendations for future corridor projects. This effort resulted in a report that summarized recommendations for attaining that vision as well as a toolkit of design elements that can be incorporated into current and future Airport Way projects.
