RESPEC PROJECT

RESPEC used a drone to give the client a good orthomosaic image of its Glitter Gulch, Denali Village Princess Lodge, and McKinley Chalet property in Denali, Alaska. Our drone also provided the client with a roughly accurate existing surface for future planning purposes. RESPEC surveyors established horizontal and vertical control and set photogrammetric ground control points. The site required heightened awareness while flying because of the proximity to the Nenana River canyon and the Denali Park entrance’s airstrip. The client wanted the work completed after the tourist season and before the first snowfall. RESPEC surveyors responded to the request promptly and completed the project quickly, considering its size of 180 acres.
