SCIH hired RESPEC in June 2020 to provide professional services to support comprehensive due diligence efforts in acquiring Morton Salt (eventually acquired by SCIH in October 2020 for $3.2B, as publicly reported). All together, RESPEC’s contracts in support of SCIH have totaled millions of dollars annually; this specific Morton Salt due diligence assignment, at $589,000, is one of our multiple projects for SCIH yet indicative of both our technical skill in evaluating underground mining assets and the trust that large industrial companies place in our judgment—with direct impact on their future business success.
