Civil Project Engineer - Land Development

Albuquerque, NM - C-Community Design Solutions

RESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to provide project management and engineering services at our Albuquerque, New Mexico location. The work will focus on site civil work for commercial and residential sites, the design of infrastructure such as ponds, storm drains, roadways, and utilities to support these private developments. Projects may include master planning studies as well as residential lot layouts, flood control planning and design, stream restoration, and bridge scour assessment and design.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor of science degree in a civil engineering or related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) Certification. The candidate should have competencies in:

  • Coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies and design team members on an ongoing basis
  • Civil site and grading design
  • Roadway/transportation design
  • Utility design
  • Proficient in Civil 3D
  • Construction plans and specifications production
  • Developing and preparing drainage reports and stormwater design.

We are seeking a team player who strives to provide quality work, meet project needs, and deliver projects on time and who can work independently on multiple priorities. This professional should be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Compensation:  Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package comprising of medical, vision, dental, holidays, paid leave, paid maternity and paternity leave, 401(k) plan, ESOP, continuing education, and professional societies. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the ESOP after a qualifying period.
