Civil Project Manager - Water/Wastewater
Job Description
Join us as a Water/Wastewater Project Manager and take the reins in developing our Water/Wastewater group in our Tampa, Sarasota, or Fort Myers, FL, offices to new heights. Your leadership will be pivotal in expanding our footprint, delivering high-impact solutions, and shaping the future of our water and wastewater projects.
Qualifications
- A bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Must be a Professional Licensed Engineering (PE) in FL or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 10+ years of proven experience in successfully managing water and wastewater engineering projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management
- Strong comprehension of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment processes
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical information
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee water and wastewater projects from conception to successful completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, requirements, and technical specifications
- Conduct in-depth engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and intricate design work for water and wastewater systems
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project deliverables to ensure the highest quality
- Navigate permitting processes and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations for projects
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential data and provide technical guidance during construction phases
- Manage construction activities, meticulously track project documentation, and adeptly address any design modifications or issues that arise
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continually enhance project outcomes
- Lead business development activities including build relationships with area municipalities & utilities, identify opportunities, and respond to RFPs.
Additional Information
Typical salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000. Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
Part-time and full-time positions available in Fort Myers, Tampa, and Sarasota, FL area.
