We are seeking a Structural BIM Technician to join our full-service engineering team! If you’re passionate about drafting and modeling complex structures, then take a look! What you’ll be doing:

  1. Cutting-Edge Technology: Get ready to dive into the world of BIM software! You will work primarily in Revit and have the opportunity to leverage Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu to enhance your workflows. These powerful platforms empower you to digitally prototype and document precise, clash-free designs that bring facility projects to life.
  2. Impactful work: Your role will directly contribute to the success of construction projects. From modeling wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures to producing plans, elevations, and details, your work will shape the future of our built environment.
  3. Visualize and Coordinate: We believe in thinking beyond 2D blueprints. As a BIM Technician, you’ll visualize complex structures to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines. Your ability to recognize spatial conflicts and help optimize designs will be invaluable.
  4. Library Management: Curate and maintain our BIM and CADD library, ensuring seamless access to essential resources and support files.

  • Proficiency in BIM and CADD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD)
  • Interest in emerging technologies
  • Strong visualization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings
  • Ability to interpret written, verbal, and visual direction

Additional Preferred Experience/Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in structural drafting and modeling preferred
  • Experience in construction, mining, and related trades will be beneficial
  • Related degrees or certifications desired

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
