Marketing / Human Resources Intern
Job Description
The Marketing / Human Resources Intern will be learning on the job by supporting various functions of the Marketing and Human Resources department. The ideal student for this position has a proven desire to learn about Marketing and Human Resources. As a Marketing / Human Resources intern, you can expect to collaborate with a seasoned team of Marketing and Human Resources professionals. You will also enjoy working day to day on functions and projects that contribute to our company-wide business initiatives. Our goal for your summer internship will be to give you an edge to advance your professional development through continuous growth and innovation while gaining comprehensive real-world experience.
- Learning Module Support – assist in gathering formatting & organizing training materials
- Writing & Communication – draft, edit, and proofread materials
- Document & Resource Management – help create & maintain digital documents like checklists, guides & FAQs
- Content Library Support – assist in gathering marketing documents and organizing materials
- Resource Management – file marketing documents into our content library
- Marketing Support – assist the marketing and proposal group with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or demonstrated academic achievement
- Experience with Office365; applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Minimum of 1 year of office administrative experience or relevant experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time
- Must be able to handle multi-tasking with the ability to comprehend complex processes
- Ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment
- Work as a team player with the HR team and the business
Additional Information
Compensation: Hourly wage depends on education and experience, plus statutory insurance requirements.
