Collaborative Online Archival Library (COAL) is a customer-centric master data management system that empowers users to modernize data while minimizing errors.
RESPEC’s Collaborative Online Archival Library (COAL) is a customer-centric master data management system that works as a data warehouse repository system for all current and historical data. COAL enables our clients to cleanse and stage data for their modernization projects while minimizing discrepancies and reducing errors. COAL is also an interactive, online reporting and analysis system that integrates with multiple systems.
COAL is built around a “one person, one record” (Enterprise Customer) framework to allow all information to be tied to a single person and taken out of silos. In addition to the data repository, the Enterprise Customer function provides a centralized, searchable web-based user interface to allow multifactor, multi-argument searches of customer and vehicle data, a view of the customer information related data, and reporting and analysis tools. We also developed a complete merge/unmerge function so that duplicate data can be combined and then uncombined as needed.
Clients use COAL to:
- Improve data quality with a single version of truth.
- Eliminate data duplicates and reduce errors.
- Enable sharing by synchronizing between multiple systems.
