Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Northern RegionThe Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Northern Region hydraulics section engaged PDC Engineers (PDC), a RESPEC Company, to collect and map drainage data and inputting into a GIS database for the City of Fairbanks area. The PDC geodatabase model by using the data collected in the field by the PDC survey field crews. The finished improved stormwater infrastructure functionality (i.e., capacity and water quality) analysis, flow path tracking, and asset management evaluated future system-development impacts.
