Kizildere II Geothermal Power Plants

Turkey’s first geothermal power project, Kizildere I (17 MWe), expanded to more than 90 MWe with a new triple-flash + binary geothermal plant. Dr. Dan Hoyer, working for Veizades, participated in a “root cause analysis” of a Fuji turbine failure. During an overhaul, he worked with the Fuji specialist to expedite the return to service.
