As a subconsultant to the prime contractor, RESPEC provided services for Taku’s cathodic protection designs for Stage 2. The structural engineering scope included the design of a new rectifier shelter, supports for electrical equipment, evaluation, and design of a method for pulling existing anodes. The electrical scope included new three-phase power and distribution system to support cathodic protection systems, lighting, and general power for a new cathodic protection power support enclosure.
