RESPEC helped property owner Ron Brown understand his costs and designed a development budget for the construction of his Latitudes gas station and grocery store in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

RESPEC had previously designed a water quality structure on the property for another client. The RESPEC team designed Mr. Brown’s gas station to drain to that structure and saved him thousands of dollars in costs for water quality features.

We coordinated with the City of Rio Rancho, Southern Sandoval County Flood Control Authority, Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority, and New Mexico Department of Transportation while overseeing the design of the utilities for the site. RESPEC organized the placement of dry utilities (phone, electric, gas, and cable) and underground gas storage tanks.

RESPEC also managed the design and construction of the adjacent public infrastructure, including street modifications, water and sewer line extensions, and a regional pond. The finished gas station boasts as the only store of its kind in the Rio Rancho/Albuquerque area with a neighborhood market and competitive gas prices.
