RESPEC Named Recipient of Montana’s DNRC Blue Flame Award

RESPEC won the Blue Flame Award – an honor given by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC). It acknowledges our “ideal partnership” and showcases how RESPEC and DNRC project managers work together to deliver ideal solutions.

This annual award, based on internal nominations, highlights glowing examples of technology advancing DNRC projects or work. The management team within the DNRC Office of Information Technology (IT) reviews the nominees and selects the winner. This year, they chose RESPEC.

RESPEC began work for the DNRC Water Resources Division (WRD) in 2016, replacing a 20-year-old application that allows the State of Montana to monitor water usage data and its residents to understand and manage their water rights. Jon Davis and Andrea Worthy with our Data & Technology Services (DTS) business unit – along with 15 other RESPEC employees – have worked diligently within conservative funding goals to help the DNRC WRD transition to a secure, web-based application.

The Blue Flame Award that RESPEC received demonstrates, yet again, how we strive to be an Integrated Solutions Partner. We are proud of the DTS team who has fostered this award-worthy relationship.
