Civil Engineer-in-Training
Job Description
RESPEC seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) located in our Fort Myers, FL, location.
This position involves all aspects of residential and commercial land development design and is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of science in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field
- Engineering Intern (EI) certification
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D design software
Preferred:
- Experience in permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, and hydraulic calculations
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design software, and other typical design software, including WaterCAD, StormCAD, and ICPR
- Knowledge of GIS
- Strong team player who can contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven team environment, as well as under the direction of multiple project engineers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The salary range for this position begins at $80,000. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
