Early Career Civil Engineer

DeLisi Fitzgerald, Inc., a Division of RESPEC Company, LLC, is a multiservice consulting company specializing in land-use planning and civil engineering. We have an immediate employment opportunity for an early-career civil engineer. This position involves all aspects of residential and commercial land-development design and is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects.

Education and Desired Skills Include:

  • Earned or Earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field
  • Possess Engineering Intern (EI) certification, or plan to sit for FE Exam within 1 year
  • Experience in permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, and hydraulic calculations is preferred
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D design software
  • Knowledge in GIS
  • Knowledge in surveying
  • Experience typical design software including WaterCAD, StormCAD and ICPR
  • Construction observation and developing construction plans and specifications
  • Ability to provide guidance to CAD technicians working on plan development
  • Strong team player that can contribute to several projects simultaneously

Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 annually (Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown).
