The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) was using a legacy vehicle insurance verification system that needed improvements in security, reporting, and information sharing with other government agencies. They were seeking a qualified vendor to provide a new system for vehicle insurance verification services that would (1) allow multiple Texas agencies to match registered vehicles with insurance policies, (2) reduce the number of uninsured drivers, and (3) assist law-enforcement professionals to comply with vehicle insurance requirements. The system also needed to respond to queries from law enforcement on a 24/7 basis by retrieving the requested records quickly and securely.
RESPEC is contracted with TDI to develop the vehicle insurance verification system called TexasSure. Using agile technology, Our professional team is working closely with four Texas state agencies to provide a modern system. RESPEC is charged with designing, developing and implementing TexasSure. After the system is launched, RESPEC will operate the TexasSure vehicle insurance verification system and process over 40 million records on a weekly basis so that law-enforcement professionals and other organizations can easily access the updated information and current reports.
Meeting a long-time strategic goal for growth in the state, the TexasSure project commences RESPEC’s work with the public sector in Texas. Working from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Austin, Texas, RESPEC’s professional team is excited to build a fast, robust, technical solution that can be used to reduce the number of uninsured drivers across the nation.
